The Biaft stickers are made from acrylic adhesive masses that guarantee a long term seal. Their adhesive strength (tensile strength and peeling resistance) is significantly higher than normal coated adhesive tapes. Thanks to the resistance to solvents, thermal extremes and UV, the aft tapes can be used for many indoor and outdoor applications. They also allow easier and quicker assembly, eliminate finishing operations and do not lose their characteristics over time. By applying a firm pressure the adhesive contact is activated and the sealing is increased. The ideal temperature for VA tape applications from 20°C to 40°C. It is not recommended to apply the tape at initial temperatures below 10°C as the adhesive becomes too rigid to adhere to. Once the tape has been applied correctly, use at low temperatures is generally satisfactory. In some cases it is possible to increase the seal with heat removal. In this way you get better wetting (penetration of the adhesive) of surfaces. Biaft stickers are widely used in industrial and automotive applications both indoors and outdoors.
